MENT also known as trestolone is a synthetic androgen hence generally used for androgen replacement therapy. It is ten times more powerful than testosterone. It has several advantages for bodybuilders and athletes as it add on muscles at very high rate and increase in level of serotonergic amines in brain has been observed. This makes the behaviour more aggressive which results in more power and speed. But all this positivity comes with side effects. MENT suppresses release of gonadotrophin, testosterone and reduces sperm production. Also it does not bind to sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). Androgenic and estrogenic side effects are not uncommon in athletes who consume MENT.
